Community Sponsorship Program
Gracie Teens® (Ages 12–14)
At Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Cairns, we work with young teens every week.
We see the difference between a teen who walks in unsure…
and the same teen three months later standing taller, calmer and more confident.
Not louder.
Not aggressive.
Just capable.
Why We’re Offering This
Some teens go through seasons where:
• They’ve been bullied
• Their confidence has dropped
• They struggle socially
• They avoid conflict instead of handling it
• They lack positive direction
As parents, you can guide them.
But you can’t build confidence for them.
Confidence comes from doing hard things in a safe environment — and succeeding.
That’s what structured Jiu-Jitsu provides.
Our Gracie Teens® program focuses on:
• Practical, age-appropriate self-defence
• Emotional control under pressure
• Respect and discipline
• Goal setting and personal progress
• Healthy training habits
Classes are structured, supervised, and ego-free.
We maintain high behavioural standards and a supportive culture.
The selected teen will receive:
🥋 3 months of Gracie Teens® training
🥋 Official Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Gi and belt
🥋 Full access to Gracie University online
🥋 All belt grading fees
There are no hidden costs.
No lock-in contracts.
This is a genuine opportunity for a teen who needs it.

They just need the right environment.
